Weddings at St. Paul's

"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh."( Gen. 2: 24)

The Holy Scriptures tell us that marriage has been instituted by God and has been designed by Him for the well-being of His people and the good of society.  The Biblical definition of a marriage is that it is a lifelong union of one man and one woman to become one flesh.  (Genesis 2, Matthew 19)

The Scriptures also tell us that holy marriage is to reflect the relationship of Jesus Christ and His bride, the Church.  (Ephesians 5)  In order to have a strong Christian marriage that reflects the love of Christ it is essential for the husband and wife to have a strong spiritual life and be faithful in worshiping the Lord together with His people.

Therefore, we welcome those who are planning to unite in marriage in accordance with the teachings of Holy Scripture and who have the desire to participate in the life of Christ's Church. Weddings are performed at St. Paul's for those who are already members and those who desire membership in Christ's Church.

For the wedding ceremony, our intention is to maintain a worshipful atmosphere and to have a service that glorifies God and centers on Jesus Christ.  We will assist you in planning a beautiful and meaningful service, maintaining the reverence and devotion which is to surround all the preparations and people involved.

St. Paul's Wedding Consultant(s), faithful members of our church, will assist the couple, their families, and the pastor at both the rehearsal and wedding.
